From the moment we turned off at that amazing entrance at Juandah Plains; we were mesmerised! What a venue, what an event! 🤩

Huge thanks to all involved in this outstanding showcase of horse flesh and rider for inviting us along to play a small part. And thank you to the beautiful women (and men!) who visited us at 2H and took home a little piece of our collection. It means more to me than I can describe.

My beautiful mum. Just look at her, look at that sparkle. She’s been to hell and back this past year and here she is; at the draft with us that I missed 12 months ago to be by her side. Here in the dust, wind and cold but that sparkle is slowly coming back.

At the end of the day; family is really all we have. Material, shiny, fancy things… are just that; “things”. Things that will gather dust and lose their novelty eventually. Loyalty however; especially in the day and age of social media and the internet (sadly) is so precious and rare.

If you have it in your family or even in special friends; I mean that true loyalty where someone will stand up for you and call others out for it when you’re not in the room… cherish it. Times (and people) are changing; and not necessarily for the better.

Hold on to “your people” with both hands. And make the effort every chance you get. Be that person who speaks up when no one else does. The universe will recognise it… I’ve seen it.

Be the old fashioned one with real morals and integrity. It’s rarely the easy or “cool” option in a group setting or conversation; but it’s the one that ensures a good night sleep.

I’m so incredibly lucky to come from a family that loves me and backs me no matter the circumstance. My world is far from perfect and my real circle is small; but it’s mighty and it’s solid and I’m the richest cowgirl in the world for it.
