A Change to Our Exchange Policy 💛

This has been a decision I've sat with for a long time.

Little Treasures was created with one purpose in mind: to make children's clothing affordable and accessible for families.
Our exchange program exists so that when your children outgrow their clothes, you can bring them in, receive store credit, and use those credits to help clothe them in the next size up.
It's about keeping good clothing in circulation, reducing waste, and easing those financial pressures.

Over time, I've noticed an increasing number of exchanges coming in from customers who have "online stores"
While they've been following our exchange policy correctly, I've realised that it no longer aligns with the heart of what Little Treasures was built for.

Seeing lower-value items exchanged for credits that are then used to take higher-value pieces, only for those items to be resold elsewhere for significantly more.... has become increasingly difficult for me.

I completely understand that every business has its own model and needs to make a profit, and I genuinely respect that..

But our exchange program was never designed to be a way to source stock for resale.
It was designed to help families.

When our credits are being used to remove affordable items from our shelves to be sold elsewhere at a much higher price.. It takes those pieces away from the families our shop was created to support.

For me, that defeats the purpose of having an exchange program in the first place.

Because of this, we will NO LONGER be accepting exchanges from those who have preloved stores, online stores, resellers etc

This does not mean you're no longer welcome at Little Treasures 💜
You're absolutely still welcome to shop with us and purchase items from the store just like any other customer.
If you currently have store credits on your account, those credits will remain valid, and you're welcome to use them.
However, once those credits have been used, we will no longer be able to accept future exchanges.

What's important is to protect the values that Little Treasures was built on and to ensure our exchange program continues to serve the families it was intended for 🩷

Little Treasures is about love, support and kindness.
I may not have all the fancy brands, or the bigger sizes.. you might find my social media boring.. im probably too chatty for you..
But I'll continue to show up & support those who appreciate affordable quality secondhand clothing ♡
