Hi All, it's a busy time of the year, weddings, back to school and summer wear. Please book your appointment at least 1 -2 weeks in advance. Please be aware most garments need unpicking before an alternation can take place, tailoring of suits is a lengthy process, usually a few days deconstruction and reconstruction, meaning suits and gowns cannot be done over night. Please allow reasonable time frames when booking your appointment. Many have missed out, due to last minute or emergency work required.

Hi All,
It's that time of year, Christmas is approaching fast. As most of you know my home is also the place of business. In order for me to prepare for my family Christmas I am closing the business Friday 19th at 7pm, all garments will need to collected by then, other wise they will be in storage until I reopen mid to late January.

I have becoming increasingly aware that there is little understanding of how garments are made and what goes into manufacturing your garment. Today many sewing machines are robotic, taking the skills of sewing away from workers. These practices make mass production so very much cheaper....please understand moderifications to your garment, require the understanding of the construction process, unpicking of the components that need to be altered, then the reconstruction of your garment can occur.
