McKinnon Ag & Livestock Livestock Contracting
We take great pride in our professional and ethical workmanship. Over 25 years of industry experience.

Our professional teams are focused on providing your ethical husbandry needs with the best welfare practices in mind. Anywhere Crutching is a family owned livestock contracting business, based in Skipton Victoria, operating throughout Victoria. Our crutching trailers, portable drenching race and lamb marking trailers enable our teams to meet the needs of all livestock owners. The Perkinz crutching

trailers are designed for crutching quickly and efficiently, with no dragging of sheep, the job is completed around 20% - 30% quicker than a shed. Our crutching trailers can be set up in your sheep yards, off a woolshed or as a mobile plant for those in remote areas with no shed facilities. Our Perkinz Drenchmaster is a simple and effective sheep handler, that allows for safe and fast handling, drenching, vaccinating, ear marking, back lining etc. The drench master can also be ran in conjunction with the crutching trailer, tailoring your crutching, drenching or vaccinating needs into one job. Our portable lamb marking trailers enable us to operate from your yards or paddocks, with major benefits to the lambs and marking experience. During portable lamb marking there is much less stress placed on the ewes and lambs, no droving, less yard time and the lambs are generally back with the ewe within 1 hour mothered up.

🐾 International Dog Day 🐾

Today’s for the real backbone of the team — our working dogs. 🐕💪

They clock up the kilometres, work long days in the yards and paddocks, get covered in mud, dust and everything in between… all without complaint and still wake up ready to do it all again.

They’re not just working dogs — they’re workmates, characters, best mates and a huge part of the McKinnon Ag & Livestock family. ❤️

Here’s to the dogs that make the hard days easier and the big jobs possible. Happy International Dog Day to our four-legged crew! 🐾

CRUTCHING SEASON HAS BEGUN!

And just like that… the heat is on! 🔥

This week we’re juggling crutching, lamb marking and good old wet Victorian weather

Busy crews, changing plans, wet yards and plenty of kilometres — all part of the job!

Crutching season is officially underway and things are only getting busier from here. The dogs are very excited to be back at it.

Gunna Jude loving her Saturday at Wade Vets — pretty sure she thinks she’s the coolest dog in the district! 🕶️🐕

It’s been a massive week for our crews — lamb marking, mustering and drafting, navigating some pretty ordinary wet weather, and clocking up 2,500km+ on the road getting teams where they need to be. 🐑🚙🌧️

A huge shout-out to our teams this week. With the boss lady spending a few unexpected days in hospital, everyone pulled together, stepped up, took on extra responsibilities and kept the wheels turning …

Another busy week of lamb marking and livestock work! 🐑💪

We’ve got one crew working up near White Cliffs, NSW, while the other is just out of sunny Skipton today. A fair few kilometres between us, but both teams are getting the job done!

The end of another busy week is almost in sight 🌈

Victorian farming… never a dull moment! 🐑🌧️☀️

Yesterday we were forced to pull the pin on lamb marking due to the extreme weather — flooding, soaked paddocks and conditions that just weren’t fair on the ewes and lambs.

Fast forward 24 hours, travel just 50km in a different direction… and the sun’s shining like yesterday never happened. ☀️😂
