We’re proud to share that Grant — owner of our building and long-time part of our team — has become the 86th Founding Member of Community Flights, donating $500 to support their incredible work.

Community Flights provides free flights for people facing medical, financial, or social hardship across South East Queensland, connecting vulnerable people to the care and support they need.

As the days get shorter and evenings arrive sooner, we’ve made a small change to our closing time.

From now on, you’ll find us open:
⏰ 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 7 days a week
(previously closing at 5:00 PM)

Same friendly service, just finishing half an hour earlier to suit the light. Plan your visit and we can’t wait to welcome you! 😊

Heads up, furniture hunters.
> We hear it five times a day: "Do you have much furniture?"
> Short answer: yes. Long answer: you're probably already looking at it.
> At Sorell Antiques and Collectibles, 15 Somerville St, most of the tables, display cabinets, sideboards, bookshelves and hall stands that our stock is sitting on... are actually for sale too.
> We are a co-op of 15 dealers, and we've been here since the early 80s. It's not a museum display — it's a working shop. If you like the cabinet holding the Pyrex, or the oak table under the vinyl, just ask. We can price it, and we can help move it.
> And no, we're not just antiques. You'll find vintage, retro, collectibles, jewellery, toys, records and the odd 70s lamp along the way.
> Open 7 days, 10am–5.00om #. Come fossick. And next time, point at the furniture first.

> Our friends at The Preloved Market Tassie are back at Elwick Racecourse in Glenorchy for their pre-loved market — Saturday 9th May, 11am–3pm
> It's a proper curated mix of vintage, retro and preloved gems, and it's all about keeping good clothes and homewares in circulation instead of landfill.
> If you're clearing out, grab a stall. If you're hunting, bring a tote and a gold coin. We'll be popping down ourselves — come say hi if you spot us!

This month's market falls on Mother's Day Weekend.

Our stallholders will be selling handmade, upcycled, preloved, vintage and retro collectibles, clothing, plants and homewares. Something for everyone.

Held indoors at the Sorell Memorial Hall, 47 Cole Street, Sorell, TAS 7172.
