A Memorable Couture - Sorrento WA I’ve always enjoyed sewing and needlecraft from when my toes reached the treadle on my mum’s Singer.

When my favourite Australian brands disappeared, replaced by seasonal disposable fashion clothing made overseas, seting off a senseless wasteful throwing away culture, I decided to do something about it: my motto is Made in Australia or made by me. A Memorable Couture is about returning to local clothing production, and rewriting the story of a garment that typically ends up in landfill, by prolonging its life through alteration and repairs.
