Hola amigos ✨ I’ve been on a social media detox. This wasn’t planned, just naturally happened, I’ve been absent living life! There is nothing more precious than TIME with yourself and loved ones. There is also a time for work and a time for rest. Both equally important.
This social media detox feels right for me in this time as I want to remain authentic and offer from a place of overflow.
Social media is an amazing tool and opportunity to engage in dialogue with wonderful people, to grow brands and to share goodness. I want to share my reflections, the fave things to remember, which guide the integrity of our content and maintain reasonable balance between posting and living:
1. Time is precious. It takes discipline not to let social media steal my time.
2. I am responsible for everything I post and everything I post will be a reflection of me.
3. Invest into happiness in real life, not just on social media.
4. I have a choice of trying to impress or impact via this platform.
5. It’s ok to take a break to be alone with your own thoughts and rejuvenate.
So there’s my top five 🖐🏽 feel free to share some of your gold nuggets too! What helps you maintain balance and remain authentic?
May this be useful and as always, wishing you all health, love and joy... especially during this magical Christmas season! 🎄🙏🏽✨
What’s everyone up to?... we’ll be spending time with our babies at the beach a lot, also going camping for a few nights and then keeping it simple and spontaneous with familia and friends. Heaps of birthdays and celebrations within our circle this time of year too... 🥳 let’s remain grateful, be present and enjoy every moment.
Sending lots of love, from our family to yours 💛🙏🏽💛
