Amelia has been teething. Last week was one of the worst experience we have endured. Even though Amelia is our fourth, it doesn't get any easier, nor does it prepare you for pain that teething can cause. She's pushing through six teeth. Amelia was irritable, lethargic, had temps between 38-40°.
She was medicated for the pain, cold towels were used to cool her down. We also used Punkin Butt's teething oil to naturally numb her gums, and she chewed on Baby Banana teething brush. Two teeth have pierced her gums, two are about to break the surface and two more are slowly making their way up.
Amelia is back to her bubbly self this week, thankfully.
Is your baby teething at the moment? How are you coping?
For parents with older kids, do you remember the first time your babe experienced teething pains? Any advise?
