The last five days have been nothing short of magical as we’ve cruised along the Rhine River onto the Danube. 🛳️
We’ve drifted past countless fairytale castles perched high above the river & wandered through beautiful little towns.
We’ve been in Germany during its hottest days on record, with temperatures soaring to 44 degrees over the past three days 😱
Thank goodness for the air conditioning on our Viking River ship! Its definitely been our little oasis after exploring in the heat! ☀️😡
We've visited Cologne, Koblenz, Freudenberg & Wurzberg so far.
A few more days exploring Germany then onto Austria, Vienna and Budapest 🫶🏼

Two beautiful days in Weesp.
A beautiful place that gave us a glimpse of everyday Dutch life.
Just a 15-minute train ride from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam, Weesp feels like a world away. It’s easy to understand why so many people choose to raise their families here.
One of our favourite moments was heading out for a run and discovering the stunning countryside that surrounds this little Dutch town. Winding paths beside canals, green fields and the kind of peace that makes you want to slow down and take it all in.
A hidden gem that I’m so glad we got to experience.
Everywhere we looked there were colourful flowers in full bloom, spilling from gardens, window boxes, and along the streets. And of course, bikes were everywhere.
I would highly recommend staying in this delightful little town to anyone visiting the Netherlands. It offers the perfect balance of peaceful village life while still being close enough to enjoy everything Amsterdam has to offer.

Norway, you’ve completely stolen my heart. 🇳🇴❤️
From wandering the charming streets of Oslo, to cruising through breathtaking fjords and watching waterfalls tumble down mountainsides, to soaking up the beauty of Bergen from above after a morning run and a ride up the lookout—every moment has felt like something from a postcard.
Thank you for the incredible scenery, the fresh air, and the memories we’ll treasure forever. Next stop... Amsterdam 🫶🏼
