TREASURE HUNT SHENANIGANS! 🚐

When the shop’s closed, you just know we’re up to something! 😂

Alarms set, wheels rolling by 5:30am, and Kermit and Fozzie strapped in and ready for an adventure!
Kermit even had a turn at driving… should I have been worried? 🤣

We rolled into the Drung Swap Meet around 8am, bleary-eyed but ready to hunt for treasure! And oh lordy… what a day! Plenty of laughs, a few shenanigans, and some absolutely fabulous finds came home with us.

So where will all this treasure end up? 👀

*Some will be heading to Rustic Ramblings Vintage
*Some might make an appearance at the Swan Hill Market Day in Campbell Street next Saturday!

Keep your eyes peeled, treasure lovers… you never know what we’ve been up to! 😉

Now, if you’ll excuse us, I think Kermit and Fozzie need a little nap after all that hard work! ( nah it’s really me that needs one!)

WE’RE BACK, AND THE TREASURE HUNTING CONTINUES! 😂

The doors are swinging open again tomorrow, and I’ve got new treasures making their way into RusticRamblings!

October is turning into one big whirlwind of treasure hunting, markets and all things vintage. And just when you think I’d be putting my feet up… nope! Off I go again! 🚙

This week’s opening hours:

✨ Wednesday 14th – 10am–3pm
✨ Thursday – 10am–3pm
✨ Friday – 10am–3pm
🚙 Saturday – CLOSED (off treasure hunting!)
✨ Sunday – 10am–3pm

2am thoughts… 🤦‍♀️☕

Ever had one of those few days where you finally stop, your body is absolutely knackered, but your brain decides it’s the perfect time to hold a full team meeting? 😂

The list keeps growing, the jobs keep piling up, and just when you think you’ve remembered everything, your brain throws another six things at you… because apparently we weren’t stressed enough already. 🤦‍♀️

Meanwhile, the rest of the world is fast asleep, and here I am wide awake, mentally unpacking the car, planning tomorrow, remembering random jobs, and wondering why I didn’t do them three weeks ago. 🤣

Honestly, my brain needs to calm down, have a Milo , and go to bed. Unfortunately, it seems to think it’s the CEO of absolutely everything. 🙄😂

Anyone else’s brain forget to turn itself off, or is mine just being dramatic again? 🙋‍♀️🤣

This is where the awesome talk from Todd Sampson the other night also get played back through my mind… brain power.. meditation…breathe…..yes…now just to turn the bloody thing off.

Every now and then, I stop and think… bloody hell, we actually did it. ❤️

What started as a little idea, a love of old things and a few market stalls somehow turned into this.

There were plenty of early mornings, long days, hard work and a whole lot of packing, unpacking and doing it all again. But looking back, I wouldn’t change any of it.

Those little market days built the foundations for what RusticRamblings Vintage has become.

And now… I have my own little bricks-and-mortar shop.

Still pinching myself.
Still incredibly grateful.
And still wondering how the hell this happened. 😂❤️

And yes, I’m still doing my local market… because some things aren’t about business. The markets are in my blood. 🥰

Here’s to starting small, sticking with it, and seeing where the road takes you.

Speaking of where the Road takes you , we are off treasure hunting again……Our little shop will be opened again from Wednesday, 14 October from 10 am.

A little October magic… ✨

It’s turning into a crazy month of closing, markets, more closing, treasure hunting and a bit more closing for more markets! 😂

But there’s a method to my madness…
if I don’t get out treasure hunting now, there won’t be any new treasures to put in the shop! And we all love new treasures don’t we? 🤔

So… P**F! Off I go!

The shop will be CLOSED while I’m away treasure hunting and will reopen Wednesday, October 14th.

Wish me luck! 🪄✨
