Apothecary Bookshelf Mug

For my bookish lovers, my fantasy lovers, and anyone who believes their favourite drink deserves a little magic.

Four months ago, this was meant to be a simple bookshelf.

But I can’t be trusted with simple!

Because somewhere between baby naps, tiny pockets of time, and far too many ideas, it slowly turned into this little apothecary bookshelf world.

Dripping beeswax candles.
Miniature anatomical hearts.
Tiny quartz and opalite clusters.
Potion bottles.
Books.
Mushrooms.
And details so small I questioned my life choices more than once.

Don’t ask me how many hours went into this one.
I genuinely lost track.

My first sculpted bookshelf mug and definitely not my last.

One of many little worlds to come.

ITS ALL IN THE DETAILS

4 months ago I started a little project that had been living rent free in my head for even longer. What I didn't know at the time was just how many tiny details it would eventually demand of me.

These miniature jars and potion bottles are some of my favourites

Every single detail handcrafted, right down to the weathered labels. Because plain white just wasn't going to cut it. Miniature painted lids, weathered labels, and way too much love poured into something smaller than my fingertip

Slowly working through the tiny details of a much bigger piece.

I did not intend on making things this small, but here we are… sculpting 5–6mm beeswax candles and acting like this is a normal use of my time.

Tiny? Yes.
Fiddly? Extremely.
Am I now addicted? Unfortunately, also yes.

I’ve been very quiet on social media lately, but behind the scenes, life and creativity are still moving.
It just looks different now.
These days, clay time happens in the small pockets between contact naps, tiny hands reaching for everything, and the beautiful chaos of raising little ones.

I don’t get endless hours at my desk anymore, so the time I do get has become more intentional.
Slower. More focused. More meaningful.

And somehow, that has led me here, creating tiny, detailed pieces that were never originally part of the plan, but have slowly become a little passion project over the past few months.

Miniature lavender bundles.
Tiny hearts.
Witchy seals.
Melted candles.
Sage sticks.

Each one is a small piece of something much bigger I’ve been quietly building.

Now for something completely different for my book lovers…
Mugs 📚☕
I have so many new things to show my book lovers!!

Just some examples of what ive been slowly working on.
*Bookshelves earrings
*Bookstacks earrings
*open book earrings
*Book pendants
*ceramic book mugs
*porcelain book mugs
*AND THATS NOT ALL!

So many hours spent trying to get my muscle memory back with florals… and of course, the last one turned out to be my favourite.

I’ve currently got three bookshelf mugs on my table going through final touches. These babies will be available very soon, so keep your eyes peeled, I’ll be sharing them shortly.

This mug was donated to a good cause and I really hope it’s being loved in its new forever home.

This past year with my baby has ment a lot of experimenting… different styles, techniques, mediums, and a whole lot of prototyping behind the scenes. I’m honestly so close to showing you everything my heart and hands i have been working on.

there was soo much i learnt and retaught myself while creating this beauty. Many mistakes but if this is what the first one looks like. Imagine what my 5th is going to look like.

Little reminder, growth doesn’t always look polished. Sometimes it looks like starting again, trusting your hands, and letting the process lead.
