World Heart Day 💛

It's hard to choose a picture that isn't devastating to look at.

As most of you know, our son was born with heart disease.

He spent seven weeks in hospital after collapsing at twenty one days old.

This shows Ronnie opening his eyes and looking directly at us. He'd previously suffered a cardiac arrest and had been rescusitated and placed on life support.

This moment meant so much to us as we never knew if he would open his eyes again.

Thankfully Ronnie fought his way out of hospital, and after three open heart surgeries, our little man is a wonderful, bright two year old. The pain of those days will stay with us forever 💔
