Dear Friends

Since 2005 handcut has offered its customers a sustainable shopping experience, and has built a strong and loyal client base from around Australia and New Zealand.

We have been awarded several business awards and won a collection of sustainable purchasing awards. It has been an amazing journey for our small business and the people who have worked with us.

But to remain true to our sustainable core, we now have to adapt.

This means we will close our physical store in Crows Nest, but we will continue our relationship with our customers on-line and, where possible, on a direct one-on-one basis. [handcut@home] and [popup shops in Sydney + Melbourne]

handcut, the business, will concentrate on building a wholesale market for our innovative and sustainable products and will develop niche products for larger fashion labels. These collaborations, we hope, will increase their sustainability and offer an upcycled/ recycled option to their existing fashion brands.

So, in short, the time has come to move on from Alexander Street…

………thanks for the memories … and for those of you who popped in just to say hello and play dress up!
