We've skipped spring in Sydney, Australia. I'm wearing a green ro 絽 iromuji 色無地 with black and white Nagoya Obi.

I always wear Kimono when I'm doing my tea lesson. I'm still a beginner so I'm just endlessly practicing 割稽古 Warigeiko, but I think I improved a little bit that day.

My mouth is open because my nose was stuffed 😔 😂 but also because I'm concentrating. It's so many steps to think about!

Last week, went to the Japanese festival in Chatswood and sent me pictures of her outfit!

Doesn't she look great? Antique Nagoya obi usually have more design covering all over so it really looked great as the focal point of the outfit!

Last week, I was invited by Kimono Enjoy Club Sydney to be part of their MOSAIC Japanese culture group parade.

It was great meeting people who have been wearing kimono for much longer than me.

I had a lot of fun and loved being part of the community.

I recently went to a friend's wedding and what better way to honour my friend than wear my traditional cultural dress?

My teacher Yukari-sensei .kimono dressed me for this occasion and honestly it was great! No slippage whatsoever.

Hello!

My name is Kana. I made a goal to be wearing Kimono full time by the time I'm 35 to preserve my love for my culture. I'm still a beginner, but I'm just too deep in my love for Kimono.

I discovered 3years ago that Kimono fashion had endless possibilities and you could really wear it however you like.

Last year, I decided I would start my own business with the goal of getting young people in Sydney to wear Kimono regardless of ethnicity.

I hope you'll support me in my goal to make Kimono popular and maybe you will find a few items here and there you will like :)
