Karen Tam Designs Textile design. Homewares and accessories. I create textile patterns and experiment with techniques such as dyeing, printing, and embellishment.

I am immersed in hands on creative processes and I love creating and making things that will become part of your lifestyle. Natural fibres and natural dye ingredients form the basis of my textile products. I only use quality materials and incorporate the use of organic fabrics in my selection. Most of all I am passionate about creating unique and beautiful textiles that you will fall in love with.

It's the end of the dahlia season now and I've just picked my last flowers. I have quite a few seed pods developing so that's always exciting. 😆
Ranunculus and anemones are growing well for the upcoming season, and I have a couple of golden nuggets pumpkins that are about to be picked.

Something close to my heart. When we start prioritising data centres over people's health and welfare, fragile river and riparian ecosystems, sustainability and wise use of water, the system is broken. 💔
This is my local park, 200metres from me. Goodman Properties is proposing a 90MV data centre just behind it adjoins conservation land, homes (16 metre away) and a primary school.

If you feel strongly about the local issue, I urge you to lodge an objection by Tuesday 5 May. They have also had technical issues so please don't leave it until the last minute. Anyone can object you don't need to be local.
We need to ensure that consideration of all data centres by Planning authorities are undertaken with all stakeholders interests and health and environmental impacts assessed fairly, equitably, and responsibly.
