A more whimsical new colour scheme to introduce to you this week. There is nothing I love more than spending time in my garden. Growing my own produce is one of my absolute joys in life. From my time with my plants comes todays new lovely. Meet 'Rose bud' aptly named after the formation of the young pink rosebud yet to open into it's glory. Gentle colours from my garden transformed into a silky fan. I must also mention that the other inspiration was a costume I created - a mushroom fairy ensemble. These colours have always been bobbling around my head. Not yet on the website so please message me if you are interested.
I have also included a photo of a single colour veil - Wasabi. We often overlook the simple one colour veil for more multicolour styles, yet the simplicity of one beautiful colour enhancing our costume is just as magical.

Introducing two new beauties - Queen and her alter ego Ice Queen.
Luscious royal deep purples, maroons and gold for Queen and with the addition of a chilly white and ice blue/lavender for her sister the Ice Queen.
I am excited to add these colours to my collection. I have a veil and a set of fans ready to go now.

Hello Everyone each year I create a little bit of rainbow magic for the annual auction for Flagging in the Park - San Francisco. Sharing my post to spread the love a little more and hopefully garner some more $ for this wonderful cause. A little bit of an explanation below.

These blacklight fans are a shorter length pair on a medium length Rib. Rib length is approximately 40cm and the fabric is just over 1m long by 1.12 wide. Fabric weight is 8mm habotai silk.
Everything I make is special but these fans are just that little bit extra spesh.

The silk used in these fans were dyed in San Francisco with my daughter at a workshop with Xavier a few years back. I held onto the silk knowing one day the perfect time to create something magical would present itself and indeed it has.

These fans are coming full circle back to FITP, I have created the fans from the silks made in Jouke Lannings home, assembled in my studio in Australia and now they are back in the love of FITP.
