Best wishes to our beautiful creative neighbours Marc and Donna from Adagio mills tonight, top 3 in the Australian Yarn Awards as YARN PRODUCER OF THE YEAR FINALISTS !!!!
How amazingly exciting for a wonderful couple from Hawkesburys Grose Vale, a farm full of alpacas ( plus a llama, goats, puppies and chickens).
Creating stunning yarns from alpaca, marino and silk, to name a few, here in their mill.
And how wonderful for me as chief babysitter, and new employee !!! Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love textiles, and to have my hands in buckets of alpacca, marino and silk floof, and helping create gorgeous yarn, knows I have been truly blessed indeed. 😁
My friends and I are waiting to hear the news, but whatever the result, we are super proud of the hard work Donna and Marc put in, genuine Aussie manufacturers, from farm, to mill (here in the Hawkesbury) to your knitting and crocheting needles !!!
