Happy Birthday Sir David Attenborough.

Thank you for everything you’ve done for the planet, and thank you for taking the time to write to us over the years.

Your words of encouragement meant more than you’ll ever know. Opening the letterbox and finding handwritten letters from you is a moment our family will never forget.

We have a little shoebox full of letters from people like David that we’ve always kept very quietly tucked away. Joce, myself, Harry and Archie all agreed that David probably wouldn’t mind us sharing the fact that he took the time to write to us, because that kindness deserves to be celebrated too.

What an absolute legend.
