A little update 💕 I’ve extended the tasha RUI online sale through January as I wind things down, the store will close at the end of the month to reduce operating overheads ✌🏼it costs $$$ every month I keep the business live 🙈

I’ll be posting less here, but you can still follow my creative journey over at on Insta and FB where I’ve always had my clay, paint, print and curatorial projects ✌🏼

I’m also pitching my (Rose) Garden Collection of ceramic earrings and art-inspired pieces to local stockists hoping to share this new chapter with more of you soon 🌸

I’m just doing what I can manage within a limited budget, an unsteady day job market, operating with ethics and creative joy, while I self-fund my studies towards art therapy 🤩

I hesitated on doing a 2025 wrap, as I compared tasha RUI and my own accomplishments to bigger brands & other more successful creatives & mine seem so small 💕

Here’s where I landed after my reflection & forward planning though, 2025 has been about setting up new foundations & completing a 10 year creative project & vision I set myself 👍🏼 the wins are, I did it, I did it well & with my whole heart & around the constraints of being tied to a full time (& often not steady) day job 💪🏼

I’ll experiment creatively & build upon what I’ve gained so far from my tasha RUI experiences & what you’ve shared with me into 2026 💕

Playing in the studio 💕 I’m experimenting and figuring out what comes next. Studying art therapy has been so inspiring, but I still need a creative outlet so I’m back in the studio, drawing, painting, and playing with clay.

It feels good but uncomfortable to give space to ideas I didn’t have time for during the tasha RUI years ✨🎨 I was so focused on refining the surface design arty illustrative style for my label that all my other skills now feel rusty, unfinished and messy 😝 directionless!

There are just a few pieces left (mainly size 12 & 14, with some styles now sold out in 8, 10 & 16) so if you’ve had your eye on something, now’s the moment 🌸

I’ll keep the site up for just a few more days before we officially close it down 🧡 I may do a finsl stocktake and drop a seconds and archive sale in Jan yet but I’m unsure if I have the energy 💕
