Recently I had the pleasure to work on that intricate and rather unique piece of furniture... It was a bar, custom made most likely. The look of it, the Teak veneer and the way it was made, brings about Parker Knoll/ Chiswell type, but there was more to it. The entire piece looks like a sculpture really,... completed with that indigenous face, very unusual. It had a few issues, that we took care of, making it another successful restoration project of which we are very proud of. The customer, that the bar belongs to was very happy with what we achieved and left us a very heart warming recommendation, for which we are grateful.

Now the real fun begins...
French polishing using Shellac mix and oil, applied with the rubber...
Desired colour achieved by layers of stain, and aged look by applying Van D**e crystals solution...

Another find,saved from going to the tip,...nice little dresser, revamped and ready for longer life,...rejuvenated in attractive colour, completed with awesome hand made ceramic handles...
Surly will make someone happy...

What a find,...can you imagine that someone was about to put this out for Council pick up...
Magnificent Victorian dresser, made of Australian Red Cedar. Broken parts brought together again with a hot pearl glue of course and completed with traditional hand polishing,...Well the truth is in the pudding, still looking great and can last hundreds of years if looked after.Once more we stand proudly by our performance...

Restoring ‘crumbling’ feet of a...Oriental chest,...even though that particular one is quite recent,...still we don’t discriminate that fact and take same amount of care, another job well done, completed with calligraphy characters.
