Spring may still be around the corner, but allergy season can creep up on you if you're not prepared. For many people, increased pollen levels can lead to itchy, watery and irritated eyes.

A few simple habits can help minimise symptoms:
• Wear glasses outdoors to help reduce pollen exposure
• Wash your hands regularly and use lubricating eye drops if recommended by your optometrist
• Avoid rubbing your eyes if they become irritated, as this may worsen symptoms.

Taking a few simple precautions now may help you enjoy the change in seasons with greater comfort.

This Daffodil Day, we join the conversation around cancer awareness and support while shining a light on eye cancer. Although eye cancer is less common than many other forms of cancer, it can affect people of all ages and may not always present noticeable symptoms. One of the most common forms of eye cancer in adults is ocular melanoma, which usually develops in the middle layer of the eye, known as the uvea. Regular eye examinations can play an important role in monitoring eye health and identifying changes within the eye that may require further assessment.

This Daffodil Day, take a moment to learn more about eye cancer, support those affected by cancer and prioritise your eye health.

Bold is back 🧡🤎

One of our patients is showing off his new Etnia Barcelona frames from our Style Night - and we’re a little obsessed! 👓

They’re bold, colourful and definitely not trying to blend in… but that’s exactly what makes them so much fun.

Sometimes your glasses don’t need to be subtle. They can be a little bit out there, a little bit different, and a whole lot of YOU ! 😎
