I’ve been working on some beautiful lace gowns lately. Many have up to 9 layers in the skirts so hems are definitely challenging but I’m up for it!😍

Just an idea of my work.
This lovely bride wanted some adjustments to her original gown. I shortened the train and we decided on a flared sleeve to achieve the finished look. She purchased extra lace motifs at time of ordering and I used the train off cut to make the base of the sleeves. We both were very happy with the finished gown.
One of the most enjoyable alterations I’ve done.😀

Well it’s been a while since my last post!
With so many weddings cancelled or postponed and lockdowns I’ve been very quiet.🙁
Things are looking up for everyone so just letting you all know that I’m back at the sewing machine and ready for fittings.
