Thursday this week will be my last pickup from Simply Stitches until the end of September. Every other day, I’ll be in my studio.

Any allover quilts I pick up on Thursday, are booked in, or are in my studio by July 1 will be completed before I close. Any that arrive after that date... I’ll do my best. ❤️

Quilt Now, Pay Later is always available for allover quilting and existing clients. You can pay for each quilt or by instalment, the only thing I ask is that it’s paid for by the end of my next trip. Feel free to ask to go on the QNPL list or any questions.

Grace (the boss) is enjoying this beautiful sunshine we have!

This quilt is one of mine, the pattern is called Painted Ladies and the quilting is Ribbon Dance.

Pieced backings are a great way of using up extra fabric! The clever owner of this quilt agreed to let me show you how she did it as it’s my favourite method! The strips to make it bigger go through the middle to make it easier to centre. If you expect a 1-5 inch border all the way around on the back, it’s not going to be even. The wider bits on the edge work best.

The quilting pattern is called Flannel Flowers, such a sweet quilt.

I will be picking up from Simply Stitches on Wednesday morning and then the following Wednesday (10/6). Other than that, I’ll be in my studio!

Thank you for your patience. I had a last minute trip to Germany to support my husband, Christian and friend, Heidi, following the sudden loss of her partner and our very close friend, Andi. We were very lucky to have a lot of time with them over the years and have them visit us in Australia last year. ❤️
