Helsinki left me with memories of the water, the ferries, and wandering along the waterfront. There was something so calm about it all that I couldn’t stop thinking about it when I got home.

So naturally, I ended up making these.

I love that inspiration can come from the smallest moments when you travel, the things you don’t even realise you’ll remember until much later.

There’s something about those beautiful blue tones, sun-soaked streets, and intricate tiles that stayed in my head… so naturally, they ended up as earrings.

Handmade, one little detail at a time, with plenty of peeling, pressing, and probably more obsessing than I’d like to admit.

I thought I was decluttering shelves… but really, I was decluttering my head.

Over time, things build up. Boxes, supplies, half-finished ideas, “I’ll deal with that later” piles. And as a small business owner, I didn’t realise how much mental space it was taking up until I started clearing it out.

The funny thing is, creating feels so much easier when there’s less noise around you.

After a month of simplifying, organising, and letting go of what wasn’t serving us anymore, I finally feel like I can breathe again. And there’s something really exciting about starting fresh, with a clear space, a clear mind, and a new collection of handmade earrings ready to be shared.

Sometimes making room is the most productive thing you can do. ✨
