In a few week’s time, I shall be participating in the ARTISAN MARKET as part of the Revival Runway METRO MOOD show in Melbourne.

I have wanted to create a set of MEMENTO totes for ages, and the market was the perfect prompt to get them done!

Each style is fully reversible, printed on a beautiful organic canvas, and comes with an umbrella/sunglass pouch and a couple of fabric bookmarks (because you know me, I’m never one to waste fabric!).

Also, if you happen to buy one of my totes or clutches on the show, you’ll get an extra special free gift of your choice, which I’ll announce a little closer to the day 🥰

The METRO MOOD show is being held on

Sun 20th Sep 2026
1:30 PM - 4:30 PM
evoqe events
123 Queen Street
Melbourne

Head over to the Revival Runway profile to buy your tickets!

Oh and the totes will be on the website soon ☺️🤎

A full matchy matchy matchy The Florist’s Daughter set, washed, distressed, dried and ready to be ironed before being packed up and lovingly sent to its new home.

Pictured are the size SMALL pants on Alice, my Size 10 mannequin. The top is one size fits most. The clutch is size paperback novel 😆

Come listen to By Audrey & Grace and I discuss how to put together a more thoughtful wardrobe ☺️♥️

Join us for The Considered Wardrobe, a practical styling session that will teach you how to build a wardrobe from locally made, ethically accredited clothing. Featuring Bamboo Body, By Audrey & Grace and MegsmithMakes, you’ll discover practical approaches to colour, fabric, construction quality and capsule wardrobes, and walk away with the confidence to make better choices that suit your current style. You'll also learn about the skilled workers behind the garments, and how thoughtful purchasing can support local makers, quality craft and more ethical production.

This week, Lisa from Spiritus eco clothing and I are temporary “city girls” - heading into Clifton Hill each day from Tuesday to be guest shopkeepers at Neisha | Ethical Fashion ♥️

We will each have a rack of our clothes available to browse and purchase, alongside Neisha’s resident gorgeous designs 🥰

Come and join us as we play shop for the week! I promise I shall in no way act like Bernard from Black Books 😆

Details are in the post above, or message me directly if you have any questions ☺️

It’s oh so very dark and rainy and atmospheric up here at the moment, but that basically means it’s too dark for me to shoot my planned reel dressing Gladys, my Size 20 mannequin.

Here’s a picture instead!!

When the sun comes out I’ll make the reel. Maybe November -Decemberish 😆

Gladys is wearing The Birthday Gift high-waisted pants in LARGE.

Lovely prints, lovely garments, lovely people 🥰🥰🥰

The eighth Birthday Gift top is relaxing and drying over the heating vent, ready to head off to her new home tomorrow.

There are only two of this style left so if you’ve been eyeing it off, now is the time! Otherwise the Thistles and Thorns design has the same dark botanical energy, if you’re feeling dramatic 🥀🥀🥀😆

Why does ethical fashion cost more than fast fashion?

One of the key reasons is fair labour costs.

When a business is accredited by Ethical Clothing Australia, they have verified through an in-person audit that their supply chain is compliant from design to dispatch. This means the people who work within their local supply chain are protected, respected and paid fairly according to Australian workplace laws. No underpayments, no exploitation.

Additionally, ethical fashion is timeless and built to last. It's not thrown away after one season or a few wears. From quality materials to craftsmanship, to slower production and smaller quantities – ethical fashion can take more time and skills to create compared to their fast fashion counterparts.

When you see our trademark ‘e’ on garment labels or swing tags, you can shop with confidence knowing that the people who made your garments were treated with respect and paid a living wage.
