We use responsibly sourced natural fabrics like certified non-mulesed merino wool that will biodegrade at the end of their lifespan – nothing about the brand is ‘fast fashion.’ Our fabric and knitted and dyed in Melbourne and our entire merino collection is zero waste.

Everyone told me not to do it.
“Made in Australia is too expensive.”
“It’s too hard.”
“People don’t care where their clothes are made.”
But I didn’t believe them.
I believe in slower fashion.
I believe in craftsmanship.
I believe in quality over quantity.
I believe in knowing who makes our clothes — and where they’re made.
I believe Australian manufacturing is worth fighting for.
Is it the easiest way to build a fashion brand? Definitely not.
But nearly 20 years later, I still believe it’s the right way for mine.

We live to fight another day 🇦🇺❤️
Many of you saw my post a few weeks ago when, after 19 years of making in Australia, I found myself wondering whether it was still possible.
Could I actually become a fashion designer with no one left to make my clothes?
The response was incredible.
So many of you reached out, shared contacts, made introductions and reminded me just how many people care about keeping Australian manufacturing alive.
So… drum roll please 🥁
This week I dropped off three of our best-selling styles to be made locally AND met with an incredible mum-and-daughter team to start working on a brand new design.
The fight isn’t over. Australian manufacturing still has its challenges.
But today, I’m feeling hopeful.
We’re still designing here.
We’re still making here.
And we’re going to keep fighting to keep these skills and jobs here.
Long live Made in Australia. 🇦🇺
And thank you to everyone who helped keep the fight alive. ❤️
