In the early 1700s, a red-haired Highlander became one of the most talked-about men in Scotland.

Born into the Clan MacGregor, he lived among the hills and lochs of the Highlands. His name became surrounded by stories of loyalty, clan honour and a life beyond ordinary rules.

Dressed in Highland tradition and forever linked with Scottish tartan, his story grew so famous that many later called him “Scotland's Robin Hood.”

A question I’ve been asked loads as I prepare for the world record attempt at Gold Coast.

What I’ve learnt:

1️⃣ Kilt weight - a lot lighter and more comfortable than I expected!

2️⃣ Chafeing - I thought the shirt and kilt would be a disaster. I’ve actually had no problems!

3️⃣ The reaction - boy has it motivated me hearing the people of Brisbane shouting encouraging words at me!

The toughest part has probably been the fact that I’ve got 3 layers on top and the heat that comes with that compared to my usual singlet! But we press on!
