The humble kaftan—easily one of the most versatile pieces in any wardrobe ✨

Cinch it in with a belt for shape,
pair it with leggings (or not),
or simply let it drape and flow freely.

And this print… just divine. Now that I’ve turned it into a kaftan (and a couple of others), I can’t imagine it as anything else.

Although… I’m pretty sure I’ve still got some tucked away in my fabric stash 👀

Placed an order for overlocker cones, sewing thread, stitch unpicks and adhesive measure… and somehow ordered *echidna air fresheners*. 🦔😂

Taking a little time out this afternoon to try and refill my cup.
Was meant to be reading Time of My Life by Myf Warhurst… but somehow ended up doom scrolling instead 📱😅

Came across a trend. Now I’m not usually one to follow trends, but Jules over at Jewels of Wellbeing made it look fun, so here we are.

Photo is one I took in our outdoor area, and instead of asking ChatGPT to turn me into a random caricature, I asked it to show me sewing.

Honestly, I wish I looked this good.
In reality, I currently look exactly how I feel — and that’s okay for now 💛
