CNC Sewing design for use on your CNC Pattern Tacker! SEW ONLY: Must be glued to foam.
600mm x 400mm (maximum sew size) patterns into 740mm x 510mm (actual material size) material. SEW OR PERFORATE: Does not have to be glued to foam.
600mm x 400mm (maximum sew size) patterns into 770mm x 560mm material.
900mm x 600mm patterns into 1070mm x 760mm Material. SEW:1195mm x 800mm patterns into 1340mm
x 960mm Material. PERFORATE:1175mm x 800mm into 1340mm x 960mm Material. I do have the capability to sew and perforate on the same panel, but I’m still working on the process and
I’m not 100% happy with the results so far. New designs are being added all the time. And I usually add patterns we are working on or have finished on
Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/digitalinserts/ This is the best way to keep up to date. I can supply materials and labour to cut and glue. And then send the complete finished product (pricing will
depend on materials used. If I am supplying leather, suede or vinyl or if I have to cut and sew your material
to foam it will be more, depending on material used and time required. I keep Novatex 3mm, 6mm and
10mm Pink sew foam in stock. As well as 6mm and 12mm Grey. I will not sell directly to retail customers, so feel free to direct them to our website or page. Your
pricing will be whatever you can add to the job, consider it more of a labour saver than comparing it to
available patterned cloths, you have endless options of materials, colours, thread colours and patterns. Simple diamond patterns may not be viable cost wise (although these are our most common jobs), but
some of the more complex patterns are either impossible or just not viable for a trimmer to sew. THREADS: Due to the limitations of my machine, bonded polyester threads are my preference. I have found
Dabond to be a great all-round product. We can use other threads, but they tend to unravel and can make
the job more difficult, which can affect quality. I have a good selection of Coats Dabond v138/Size 20 in stock, and some Serabond and A&E threads, I do
not mind sourcing more threads, but it may mean a delay whilst I order it in. Alternatively, I can use your
thread. This is a list of tested V135-V138. Tex 150 Bonded Polyesters that sew well.

RESIZING: I can resize all my patterns smaller, but most of them are designed as a pattern only and not a
feature, so the borders are generally a little untidy on at least two sides, due to shrinkage or start/finish. MATERIALS: We can sew any vinyl, leather, or cloth with up to 12mm scrim foam or up to
12mm seating foam with a thin calico or polyester backing for a real defined look (the firmer
the foam, the thinner it will need to be). Some foam types can increase the difficulty of
sewing and therefore it may affect the quality of the sew. The thicker the foam and more
complex the pattern, the more likely the pattern will skew and the pattern size will shrink. Let me know what material you are using, which pattern you would like and what you are
using it for and I can advise which foam will work best. Some patterns only work on thinner
foam and smaller sizes due to shrinkage issues. Specific size panels are required to fit my clamping system. You can cut your material down
closer to the size you need, but it must be sewn to another material to meet the
requirement and then centralized on the sew foam. If you do this please allow extra for
some shrinkage, movement, and inaccuracy in the mounting frame. (This panel overall, is 740mm x 510mm. The sew area is 600mm x
400mm and the leather is 300mmx300mm. Sewn and glued to calico and
6mm cerex.) Working area and Material Sizes for the large machine!
770mm x 560mm for 600x400.
1070mm x 760mm for 900x600
1340mm x 920mm for 1175 (perf), 1195(sew)x800. Send your materials with your details, pattern number (the more info, the better) and thread choice to:

F.A.Q. Q: None of your patterns are quite what I am after, can I supply my own? A: I design the patterns from scratch, so I can use ideas you supply. Due to the way the machine sews, patterns
have to be designed to sew a certain way. This may present difficulties with certain concepts. But I am willing to give
anything a go and push it to its limits. Charges may apply for time to design patterns, if it is an idea I am already
working on or something that I will be able to use regularly those charges will be waived. Q: Can you scan and copy a pattern and then stitch that pattern onto vinyl supplied by me? A: No, I cannot scan and copy, all our designs are from scratch. I could design something similar but, keep in mind
copyright issues may crop up. Q: Where do I send my material? A: Digital Inserts

Q: What are the sizes you can sew? Why is this? A: I can sew and perforate the following sizes, due to clamping requirements and machine limitations. SEW ONLY: Must be glued to foam.
600mm x 400mm (maximum sew size) patterns into 740mm x 510mm (actual material size) material. SEW OR PERFORATE: Doesn’t have to be glued to foam.
600mm x 400mm (maximum sew size) patterns into 770mm x 560mm material.
900mm x 600mm patterns into 1070mm x 760mm Material.
1195mm x 800mm sew patterns into 1340mm x 960mm Material.
1175mm x 800mm perforation patterns into 1340mm x 960mm Material. Q: What materials can you sew? A: Almost any material that can be sewn in an industrial sewing machine. Leather, cloth,
Vinyl, canvas etc. If in doubt, please ask. Q: What size and type of backing can I use? A: I have sewn to leather with no backing at all and velours and cloth with just their bonded scrim, Headliner velour
works well as a backing. Sew foam up to 12mm. Other seating type foams
(Black, pink, green etc. up to 9mm). Some patterns work with specific foams, it is always best to talk to me
about what results you are after and I can advise you on the best option. I like to use a light calico or polyester
backing will need to be used on seating foams, and some of the stretchier materials to eliminate the material pulling out of
shape...
Q: Can you match my thread? A: I do have a range of threads in stock, but unfortunately, I don& #39;t have them all. I have found the Coats Dabond
thread the easiest to use and it is a nice quality thread. I have some Serabond and Anefil threads as well. I prefer to
use bonded polyester due to its sewability, strength, longevity and UV properties. Please contact me first and if I cannot source
the thread you require, on some patterns we may be able to use your thread and I can return it with the finished
product. (V138/Size 20 threads). Q: Do I have to supply all the materials? A: No, but I do put a small margin on the material we supply and charge the labour to cut and glue to size. This
must be compared to the freight cost to send your material to us. You may also have access to a better range
and/or pricing than I do, especially if you are an international customer. Q: Is your work sewn or designed overseas? All our design and sewing is done in house, at Toowoomba, I try to keep as much of our product as local as I can. Digital Inserts
