▪️Impact of a small biz▪️

We are incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved as a small business.

We’ve always been environmentally conscious ~ but it wasn’t until the Victoria bushfires in 2020 ~ we realised more needed to do more to make consumer change.

We started this business not only to bring connection and celebrate family and friends through greeting cards (it was the start of Covid as well!)… but we needed to do more and share awareness of the climate crisis.

You can make a substantial change just through your consumer behaviour…

🌱 Buying local products, Australia made with low carbon footprint
♻️ Reuse-recycle-refuse-repair where possible, consumer less
⚡️Electrify your home, get off gas and using fossil fuels
🚲 Be more self sufficient, ride your bike, grow your food
☀️ Reduce plastics, be a conscious consumer… and that’s just a start.

We also proudly donate a native seedling, through every order at the TreeProject, volunteer frequently at community group Surf Coast Environment Group, plus are members for many different non-profit organisations making change too.

We acknowledge finances can determine opportunities, so do what you can achieve, start small.

▪️ Catch up weekend ▪️

The weather is looking a bit chilly this weekend for Victoria ~ so it's perfect timing to organise a cosy group catch up with friends and family and write a few greeting cards.

Lucky for us a few friends are keen cooks, so we were treated to home made lunch, cookies and sweets today.

We have a few go-to local favourites in Torquay. One of our favourites is the much-loved Peach's Torquay / .torquay, where you can find Bellarine Brownie Company / (best gluten free treats), Freshwater Creek Sponges / (the popular passionfruit sponge), local tea company Love Tea (calming or sleep tea, highly recommend) ...plus an impressive range of fresh local produce.
