A quick post to say THANK YOU alongside a few relevant updates • I have been working quietly in the background on your orders, on new restock for our Naarm based stockists, speaking with the wonderful supportive Ethical Clothing Australia, and finishing off the final draft of my NYU Gallatin Masters of Arts thesis on waste colonialism and decolonial fashion - fangirling BUZIGAHILL rn • Bobby Kolade is a true inspiration.

I'll be sharing my work in a guest panel on our research in New York at NYU at a seminar led by the incredible Euginia Kisin September and would love to connect if you're in town.

As a designer and creator, it's been so informative to learn about the workings of the fashion industry and what sustainability and circularity mean both preconsumer and postconsumer ♻️

Each collection I aim to create sustainable, beautifully crafted, low impact natural fibre garments on demand that are also body inclusive and I hope artworks that you will keep in your wardrobes and pass on like heirlooms to those you love.

I can't wait to share the new meaningful developments we've been slowly crafting in the background - as commercial collections and academic research highlighting other labels who are leaders in this space.

Our posts will be a little slower this next week because, I'll be honest, content creation takes me *time* :-), but I can't wait to share when I'm back in NYC next month and to share, discuss and co-create a truly circular fashion industry as lovers, wearers and creators of sustainable fashion.

Let's continue to create a beautiful industry together 🪐

I started my work in the industry as a commercial stylist, wardrobe dresser, and upcycler before starting REMUSE. Today has been a full circle moment, being promoted as Course Lead of the new Fashion Styling & Creative Direction course here at Collarts.

Through my campaigns and runways here at REMUSE, world-building speculative landscapes, materially conscious and ethical worlds have been my approach to creative direction and styling. In this new space, I'm excited to build a course with our team that supports students into amazing opportunities, while continuing to push the boundaries of REMUSE here.

We've got some exciting updates in store for 2027 with more details in our stories.

Let's change the world together.

Our New Moon Newsletter has been released with some special news and offerings, which will slowly be revealed on this feed. Spent a day talking all things Creative Industry and non linear pathways into fashion with fabulous high school students and incredible co-presenters at Bunjil Place. Many thanks to Sarah and the amazing team for asking me back after our natural dye workshop earlier this year. Easing into our New Moon, inspired and looking forward to continuing the conversation.

For now, here is forever muse Tashah Rosa in the Oceanic Saturn Wrap in mercerised and distressed denim, paired with Agua Bells.

Floating through this orbit with Muse Tashah Rosa in the Pink Sky Tunic in low impact dyed bamboo, and Exù Duality Culottes in black cotton gauze.

Thank you to Dewi Cooke, The Social Studio, Maggie Zhou and Broadsheet for the generous mention and inclusion in 21 Fashion Insiders on Australia's Most Underrated Labels.

Looking forward to sharing more about the ethos behind Orbital 3 tomorrow.

Stay tuned🪐

The Liquid Trench.

The exploration of materiality and texture continues in Orbital 3. This time, we explore a cellulose-based faux leather in our signature biomimic-cut trench—an accessible middle ground between our luxury cactus leather and the conventional petrochemical-based faux leathers, while remaining aligned with our cruelty-free values as a brand.

Available Made to Order.

Orbital 3 Muse Tashah Rosa wears the Polarsphere Tunic, designed with low-impact hand dyed bamboo, and the Rei Ruffle Skirt in plaid cotton.

The skirt references the experimental world-building of Rei Kawakubo, whose work continues to inform our approach to silhouette, movement and textile exploration.

Ten years ago, a group of friends and I photographed the very first Solstice collection on the beautiful rocks of Boon Wurrung Country (Half Moon Bay). I had been living in Naarm for just over a year after moving from overseas.

I didn't know then that it would become the beginning of REMUSE.

Ten years later, we're returning to Solstice with Orbital 3•Aphelion.

Orbital 3 arrives this week 🪐
