The Liquid Trench.

The exploration of materiality and texture continues in Orbital 3. This time, we explore a cellulose-based faux leather in our signature biomimic-cut trench—an accessible middle ground between our luxury cactus leather and the conventional petrochemical-based faux leathers, while remaining aligned with our cruelty-free values as a brand.

Orbital 3 Muse Tashah Rosa wears the Polarsphere Tunic, designed with low-impact hand dyed bamboo, and the Rei Ruffle Skirt in plaid cotton.

The skirt references the experimental world-building of Rei Kawakubo, whose work continues to inform our approach to silhouette, movement and textile exploration.

Ten years ago, a group of friends and I photographed the very first Solstice collection on the beautiful rocks of Boon Wurrung Country (Half Moon Bay). I had been living in Naarm for just over a year after moving from overseas.

I didn't know then that it would become the beginning of REMUSE.

Ten years later, we're returning to Solstice with Orbital 3•Aphelion.

I’m so excited to once again be hosted by Bunjil Place to deliver another Natural Dye Immersion Workshop next Saturday afternoon in Berwick on unceded Bunurong Country.

Together, we’ll discuss and workshop all that goes into dyeing fabric — from plant cultivation and resource usage to safe disposal and garment care.

This past Equinox I was able to go *home* namely Lenapehoking (NYC). While spending some beautiful time with friends and fam, I spent lots of time at galleries, soaking in visuals that will soon inform and guide the collection we've been deep in development with. From , , and , it was affirming to return to the spaces created in honour the diasporic arts and cultural movements that continue to inform this practice. Looking forward to sharing more of our development process.
