There’s something pretty special about watching women go from “I have no idea what suits me” to “OH. Now I get it.”, and thriving in their style evolution 🤍⁠

These are some of the gorgeous women inside our Curate & Style community. Learning their bodies, understanding their style, sharing their wins, asking questions, trying things differently and cheering each other on along the way.⁠
⁠
And honestly, this is one of my favourite parts of what we’ve built.⁠
⁠
Because style is incredibly personal.⁠
⁠
We’ve been taught to look at ourselves and see the things we want to change. To blame our bodies when clothes don’t fit properly. To assume other women are somehow just naturally “better” at getting dressed.⁠

I want our spaces to feel like the opposite of that.⁠
⁠
A place where women can learn. Experiment. Ask the question they think they should already know the answer to. Share the fitting-room selfie. Celebrate when something finally clicks.⁠

Number 4 is my fave, and number 3 & 6 are my biggest stylist cringe moments. What are yours?⁠

1. Relevance⁠
Even the most timeless wardrobe staples evolve over time. Rather than constantly chasing hero pieces, update the silhouette of your basics over time. ⁠
⁠
2. Less is more⁠
⁠Style is about editing, not adding. A good wardrobe is anchored in a small collection of relevant, quality basics and a touch of personality. ⁠
⁠
3. Ditch the brand names⁠
When a brand name or big logo is the most noticable thing in your outfits, it overshadows your personal style. ⁠
⁠
4. Polish⁠
⁠Even on the tightest budget, a basic outfit can look incredibly stylish when you have neat grooming, ironed clothes and clean shoes. ⁠
⁠
5. Statement⁠
⁠An outfit with zero statement will read as dressed, but not necessarily stylish. Try adding a statement piece. ⁠
⁠
6. Ditch the smart watches⁠
⁠A sports watch can undo an otherwise great outftit as it throws off the harmony of the aesthetic. Save it for workouts or swap it for a classic timepiece if you want to feel polished and intentional.⁠

7. Dont save good outfits for special occasions. ⁠
⁠Wear your best. Even if it makes you feel a bit extra. Be brave. Lean into enjoying bolder style. ⁠

8. Know the importance of shoes⁠
⁠Shoes will either make or break your outfit. This is not a place in your wardrobe to "make do". ⁠

9. Wear your best colours.⁠
⁠Wear your best colours and ditch the rest. Your face will thank you for it!⁠

10. Don't buy what she's wearing⁠
⁠The fastest way to hate your wardrobe is constantly buying someone elses style. Learn what YOU love and wear that on repeat.

Every season I dedicate time to scouting stores, researching collections and trying on an almost ridiculous amount of fashion to understand what’s actually happening in the market.⁠
⁠
Because there’s a big difference between knowing what’s trending and knowing what’s actually worth buying.⁠
⁠
Not just what’s trending on Pinterest, but how Australian brands are interpreting the worldwide trends to our climate, which silhouettes are gaining momentum, what trends are up and coming, what’s already oversaturated and most importantly… what deserves a place in a real wardrobe.⁠

I’m looking at fabrication, fit, proportion, versatility and wearability. Hunting down hero pieces that feel modern without falling into fast-moving trend hype.⁠

BEFORE: Getting dressed sometimes feels like it doesn't come together like you'd imagined. And shopping is fun, but you don't always get it right. Your wardrobe is okay, but sometimes pieces feel off. ⁠
⁠
AFTER: You know your best colours, and what ones to avoid. So that when you shop, you have clarity on what to buy and what to leave behind. When you get dressed, you notice that everything has more harmony because when you shop to your tailored pallette, every colour matches and harmonisnes together without thought. Your wardrobe begins to just work and those mistake purchases become few and far between. ⁠

This is the magic. 🪄⁠
