Our goal is to produce the most natural, high quality products, presenting the true characteristics of wool straight from our sheep at Coonong Station.

Ethical Outback Wool was created by Sophie, Kimmy and Maggie with a goal to produce the most natural woollen products from Coonong Station's very own Merino wool. As mothers and agricultural business managers ourselves, we are involved in the whole production of Ethical Outback from lambing to shearing to spinning and knitting. We believe in producing a quality, ethical product that reflects the t

rue natural characteristics of Coonong Station, the only Certified Humane Wool producer in Australia. Our aim is to showcase the true characteristics of Merino wool without the use of any added chemicals or acids directly from our family to yours. Today we celebrate the love, strength and endless care that mothers give every single day.

We’re also thinking of those whose mums are no longer with them. May today bring you beautiful memories and a gentle reminder of the love that always remains.

Watching our ewes nurture their lambs always reminds us of the incredible journey of motherhood — the hardest job in the world, but without a doubt the most rewarding.
