While we don’t encourage or suggest running barefoot on the road, we had Dion push our socks to the limit!

Toward the end of his marathon, he experienced some discomfort and decided to ditch his shoes, running the final 10km in just our socks.

The result? He finished the marathon... and the socks had zero holes!

What a weekend at the Gold Coast Marathon!

Thank you to everyone who made it such an incredible event, and to everyone who chose to wear øat running on race day. We genuinely appreciate the trust you place in our gear when it matters most.

We were blown away by the number of photos, stories and posts featuring our socks and hats throughout the weekend. Seeing our community out there chasing goals across every distance is something we'll never take for granted.

We've done our best to include everyone in the results below, and it was amazing to see so many familiar names and impressive times across the weekend.

Happy Global Running Day!

One of the best things about being part of the running community is meeting people from all walks of life, each with their own goals, challenges, and reasons for lacing up their shoes.

Running has a funny way of testing us. After a tough session, a disappointing race, or an early morning alarm, it's easy to say, "I hate running." Yet somehow, a day or two later, we're back out there doing what we love.

It's often not until injury, illness, or life gets in the way that we realise just how much running means to us. The freedom, the routine, the challenge, and the community are things we never take for granted.

Thank you to everyone we've met and everyone who has supported us during our journey so far. Your support means the world to us, and we're excited to continue supporting you on your own running journey for many years to come.
