I often find myself worrying that my work isn’t perfect — noticing every little imperfection and being far too hard on myself.
But then I see some of the costumes being produced by big costume companies, often charging far more than I do, and it reminds me to give myself a little grace.
Perfection isn’t the goal. Creating something with care, passion and love is.
So, maybe I need to stop being my own harshest critic and start appreciating just how much work goes into what I do.
