As part of Melbourne Design Week 2024, and under the theme of ‘Design the World You Want’, the will present IRREGULAR - a hyperlocal festival of ideas and actions for the community of people who live, work, and play in North and West Melbourne.

will be held at Cobblestone Pavilion, North Melbourne Meat Market from Thursday, 23rd May to Saturday, 25th May 2024. We’re proud to be exhibiting our idea, .world’s brand new co-sewing maker space alongside other incredible ideas from the community. The launch event will also see our founder speaking about the project and how it can contribute to knowledge sharing and community in the fashion and textile space.

IRREGULAR takes its name from an influential newsletter that was started more than fifty years ago by two local urban activists, Ruth and Maurie Crow. As a festival, IRREGULAR will give the community of North and West Melbourne an opportunity to come together and not only reimagine the future urban spaces and ways in which we will connect with each other but also play a meaningful role in helping to shape that future.

We’ve now wrapped up the clothes making side of things here and are transitioning into making our knowledge available more widely.

First up, due to overwhelming expressions of interest for hosting another Community Overdye, we have launched our next dye timeline and bookings are now available until the 13th of May at ABCH.WORLD.

Next up, our Circular Factory space has been transformed into a beautiful industrial makerspace, ready for cutting, sewing, fitting & showing your collection. Open to all makers, sewers, cutters & designers! .world

We’re also continuing our journey over at where you can also find our surplus A.BCH fabrics available to purchase but the metre ♥️

We’re very excited to announce what’s next for our Circular Factory space (previously A.BCH production) – a new industrial makerspace in West Melbourne

Our Circular Factory space has been transformed into a beautiful industrial makerspace ready for cutting, sewing, fitting & showing. Professional and emerging designers, sewers and cutters welcome!

Book by the day and make use of our pattern making tables or micro factory machines, or create a dedicated space to work from by the month.
