Among the pieces we recently took possession of are some magnificent creations that we are listings here, just in time for Spring.

This piece was designed by GABRIELLA LIGENZA and was produced by MARZI FIRENZE.

Constructed from fine natural coloured straw, this piece is understated yet extremely elegant.
It’s wired edge provides the support for the wavy brim. It has a very simple black piping to the brim and band edges.

Priced at $250 and available for collection from Wheelers Hill (VIC)

Among the pieces we recently took possession of are some magnificent hats that we are listings here just in time for Spring.

This piece is by Melbourne based couture milliner WENDY MEADE.

Constructed from fine woven natural straw, this large brimmed hat exudes elegance. It is trimmed with antique gold fabric around the crown and brim edge, and overlayed with soft cream fabric forming the most elegant bow.

We recently took possession of some magnificent pieces and are listings them here just in time for Spring.

This piece is by MARZI FIRENZE (of Italy) who are renowned for their focus on tradition and the fine art of making hats. This piece is certainly an excellent example of these skills.

Constructed from fine natural coloured straw (sinamay) featuring preserved natural leaves protected by the finest, almost invisible silk tulle. Finished off with delicate crin to provide dimension and charm.

We are attempting to update our name for this page, but Facebook is not allowing it…at the moment.

Hopefully we can get to the bottom of it, but in the meantime we remain Circa Vintage Hats…until we can get the rename happening which will be TOOALI Vinatge Hats

After a long, long hiatus, CIRCA VINTAGE HATS will shortly be undergoing a makeover and rebranding.

After acquiring this little business about 3 yrs ago, life and a global pandemic saw it put on the shelf for a wee while; however we now feel it’s time to get these little vintage treasures out of storage and back into circulation once again…just like ourselves!

We are looking forward to sharing all the details about the new phase in the coming weeks, so standby for further announcements!

Hi Everyone...it's Tracey here.

I just wanted to let you all know that I have recently taken over managment of Circa Vintage Hats from the delightful Jacinta.
I am a qualified milliner with a passion for anything vintage, and I'm looking forward to starting work in the new year on renovating and restoring some of the wonderful pieces that are among the collection.

In the meantime, may I wish you all a very merry and safe festive season, and stay tuned...there's fun times ahead!

Always makes me so happy to see my hats still circulating.One of the most respected and loved women in Victorian Racing Judith Fitzmaurice(in Pink)wearing this most beautiful pink feathered pill box hat,at the Kentucky Derby.It is an original piece from the early 60s from New York.
