Quilting Mouse was established in Mar 09, with the aim of providing a local service for people to finish off their quilts themselves on a long-arm quilting machine; choosing backings from the widest range of cottons and flannelette in the Shoalhaven. I have the largest range of backing fabrics in the Shoalhaven district, What I make out of the business goes back into making charity quilts and are

given back to the local and broader community. Now sending to PNG and have been told even to Tanzania which surprises me.The Price range is from $5 to $20 most backings are at this time $14- $20 a meter aud

After having my quilting frame out of commission, and having had a mountain of quilt tops to catch up on. It only took me months ha ha. Now the business is technically shut, I'm now sewing my way into, kids shorts, girls dresses, reusable mensural pads, pencil cases, and occasionally quilting other peoples quilts. One day I may even get time to make some more quilts, maybe after 14 years of making, its nice to have a change

Its that time of the year again, although the mouse is shut still I sew on. I have got involved with Samaritans purse. For the first time this year I helped send something like 200 odd Christmas Child boxes. The boss with the clipboard was staggered I think. See how many next year. Oh yes the fabric is going down, into shorts, and dresses, bags etc
