Yesterday was our Biggest Morning Tea, and thanks to our generous ladies we raised $400, and the 15 of us had a lovely day, as well.

These are just a few results from our dying day. Our ladies use lots of things as their dying mediums. The pretty strands of wool were dyed using crepe paper.

It was our meeting day last week, and we had a great attendance.
The ladies were doing lots of different crafts as usual.
For show and tell, Heather showed us beads that she makes for the Shoe Box Appeal for Pacific Island children
We also had Twizzle Muffs and some crochet blankets
Everyone is welcome to our group which is on every Tuesday, we love all crafts, so you don't need to be a spinner, come along and show us what you do.

This week our ladies made 'twiddle muffs' or fidget sleeves, that will be donated to several local aged care centres.
They are made from various yarns, and buttons, beads and bits and pieces were added to create interest.
These are helpful to dementia patients as they keep them interested, and helps them to focus on the sleeves.

Some of our ladies did a workshop with Leonie (in the lovely pink shirt), who is a master of all things to do with crochet and knitting. She is very generous with her knowledge and time, always willing to help. Thank you Leonie.
