TITLE: The Magical Beehive
MILLINER: Julia Watson

The magical beehive radiates harmony, wisdom and a soothing sense of protection. Its warm honey-gold glow invites visitors into a lively realm of blooming flowers and charming creatures—fairies, gnomes, bees, dragonflies and fireflies. Believed to bring luck and safety, it embodies the essence of “enchanted living,” a life deeply connected to community, nature and the earth’s magic.

Spending countless hours crafting this magical hive became my personal escape, a dreamy retreat from everyday struggles. Immersed in these imagined worlds, I felt waves of wonder, joy and curiosity that lifted my spirits.

Fantastic day with friends yesterday no horse racing but the FOTF was hotly contested. I was delighted to make the finals for the Contemporary Lady and Millinery sections and very excited and grateful to be awarded Best Millinery of the Day.

A big thankyou to the committee and and for a great day of fashions. To the amazing judges and .lee.333 for making the big trek up to Rockhampton, you will have to visit Yeppoon on the Capricorn Coast when you are next here.
