A little reminder to keep going. 🤍

There were so many moments along the way where I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, questioned whether any of it would work, and just kept showing up anyway.

Now I get to have moments like this and think… wow, I actually built this. 🥹

Still plenty of big dreams to chase, but I’m getting better at appreciating how far I’ve already come. 🤍

Things that just make sense when you have a toddler 😂👇

🍓 Snacks. And then backup snacks for when the original snack is suddenly offensive. 😅

🧻Wipes — even when you’re WELL past the baby stage.

💧 A water bottle they’ll ask for approximately 14 seconds after leaving the house.

🧸 Random tiny toys floating around the bottom of your bag.

🪨 At least one completely unnecessary object they INSISTED on bringing. 😂

🤍 And a Busy Bag for those “okay… I need to keep you occupied for a minute” moments.

☕️ Cafés, 🚗 road trips, ✈️ travelling, 🩺 appointments, waiting rooms… you quickly learn that having something ready to pull out of your bag can be an absolute lifesaver.

Sometimes you’re so busy thinking about what’s next, you forget to look back at where you started. 🥹

Three years ago I was sitting in my living room printing, cutting and laminating every single pattern myself.

Now we’re moving into our next chapter with professionally printed, anti-tear, semi-waterproof cards — something that felt SO far away back then.

It’s easy to keep moving the goalposts in business, but this was one of those moments that made me stop and think… wow, we’ve actually come a really long way. 🤍

And I’m so bloody excited for what’s next.

This feels like a HUGE business milestone. 🥹🤍

I’ve officially outsourced part of our Link Chain Busy Bag production, which means they’ll now arrive pre-packed and ready for me to turn into the Busy Bags you know and love.

It might sound like a small change, but these are one of our most time-consuming bags to prep, and getting those hours back is going to make such a difference.

More time to work on the business, create, strategise and keep growing — while still keeping that handmade Open Hand Learning touch. 🤍

A very exciting little step into our next chapter.

When I started Open Hand Learning, I had one goal — I wanted simple, hands-on resources that we could actually take with us.

Something I could throw in my bag for a café, a road trip, appointments or travelling.

Something that kept little hands busy, but was also helping them learn at the same time.

And honestly, that’s still at the heart of everything I create today. 🤍

I’m saying it… you guys are SLEEPING on Hand Pattern Match 👀😂

It looks so simple, but once you actually try it, you realise just how much those little hands are working.

Stretching, pulling, matching colours, figuring out placement AND working those fine motor skills all at the same time. 🙌

Such a simple little activity with so much happening behind the play. 🤍
