Thursday to Karratha was 15.5hrs straight. We spent time catching up with Karratha Bikers Association, seeing our old digs, the iron ore ships loading and leaving, our fav pub Dampier Mermaid Hotel overlooking the water and our fav park and foreshore at Dampier Palms. A sneaky Tattoo for mum, lots of well needed hugs and laughs.
Sunday, Fathers Day.. We smashed out our first Market Stall at the Dampier Car and Bike Show after being online for 3years. The wind wasn’t playing nice. We couldn’t hang all of our stock, however everyone understood and took the time to let me show them what we had out of the boxes.
Monday morning (17.5hrs drive home) we left at 5am, the drive out is always hard. The wind was absolutely relentless. Trucks and Caravans all over the road, couldnt overtake when needed as everyone was just banked up, bumper to bumper.
My kids did me proud with being cramped in like sardines for such a long trip! No complaints.
Thanks Karratha for having us return home, My swollen feet from the drive don’t love you 😜
