A Lucknow Chikankari Collection
Inspired by the timeless elegance of Lucknow Chikankari embroidery, Noor-e-Nawab is a tribute to India’s most graceful hand-embroidery tradition — a craft once cherished in the royal courts of the Mughal and Nawabi era.
Believed to have flourished under the refined patronage of the Mughal dynasty — often associated with the aesthetic influence of Empress Nur Jahan — Chikankari from Lucknow became synonymous with understated luxury, delicate craftsmanship, and regal sophistication.
In the historic courtyards of Lucknow, master artisans hand-embroidered fine muslin and soft cotton with intricate white-on-white threadwork. Ethereal florals, detailed jaali (net) patterns, and shadow work were created stitch by stitch — designed to whisper elegance rather than declare it.
Noor-e-Nawab revives this heritage embroidery in contemporary silhouettes while preserving the soul of authentic Lucknowi Chikankari. Each piece is handcrafted, breathable, and timeless — perfect for festive wear, intimate celebrations, luxury daywear, and heirloom wardrobes.
