Apparel exports grew 12% in July–January FY25, with cumulative export earnings rising 11.68% during the period. January 2025 earnings reached $28.97 billion, up 5.7% from January 2024. The FY25 export target is set at $50 billion, according to the latest EPB data.

Bangladesh has gained two new Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)-certified factories, bringing the country's total number of green factories to 235. The newly accredited factories are TM Jeans Limited, based in Gazipur, and Azmeri Composite Knit Limited, based in Dhaka.

Bangladesh also hosts nine of the world's top ten green factories and 62 of the top 100 highest-rated LEED-certified factories.

RMG exports to the EU rose by 2.99% during the 11 months from January to November, reaching a value of $18.15 billion, the second highest after China. Meanwhile, apparel shipments increased by 8.22% in volume.
