Because silence is complicity, and I have seen too many babies without their heads, too many journalists who lost their voices, too many first responders killed while trying to save others, too many mosques destroyed, and too many hospitals invaded and burned to the ground.
I will strike because I believe in the power of collective action. I believe that when we raise our voices together, we can make an impact.
