The history of
began with the discovery of two critical principles: The first is camera obscura image projection, the second is the discovery that some substances are visibly altered by exposure to light[2]. There are no artifacts or descriptions that indicate any attempt to capture images with light sensitive materials prior to the 18th century.

Around 1717, Johann Heinrich Schulze used a light-sensitive slurry to capture images of cut-out letters on a bottle. However, he did not pursue making these results permanent. Around 1800, Thomas Wedgwood made the first reliably documented, although unsuccessful attempt at capturing camera images in permanent form. His experiments did produce detailed photograms, but Wedgwood and his associate Humphry Davy found no way to fix these images.
In 1826, Nicéphore Niépce first managed to fix an image that was captured with a camera, but at least eight hours or even several days of exposure in the camera were required and the earliest results were very crude. Niépce's associate Louis Daguerre went on to develop the daguerreotype process, the first publicly announced and commercially viable photographic process. The daguerreotype required only minutes of exposure in the camera, and produced clear, finely detailed results. On August 2, 1839 Daguerre demonstrated the details of the process to the Chamber of Peers in Paris. On August 19 the technical details were made public in a meeting of the Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Fine Arts in the Palace of Institute. O Allah, accept the Hajj of all the pilgrims and make it a means of purification and forgiveness for them. Grant them the reward of Hajj Mabroor, a Hajj that is accepted by You.

O Allah, forgive the sins of all the Hujjaj and purify them as You purify a white garment from dirt. Grant them a new beginning filled with Your mercy and blessings.

O Allah, protect the Hujjaj from all harm and illness. Grant them strength and patience as they complete their rituals and return home safely to their families.

O Allah, elevate the spiritual state of the Hujjaj. Let their hearts be filled with Your love and remembrance. Make their Hajj a source of lifelong piety and devotion.

O Allah, make the remaining rites of Hajj easy for the Hujjaj. Remove any hardships they may face and allow them to perform their rituals with peace and contentment.

O Allah, unite the hearts of the Hujjaj and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood among them. Let this journey be a reminder of the unity of the Muslim Ummah.

O Allah, bless the Hujjaj with ample provision and sustenance. Grant them the means to support their families and communities upon their return.

O Allah, bless the families and loved ones of the Hujjaj. Grant them patience and tranquility as they await the return of their loved ones from this blessed journey.

O Allah, accept the prayers and supplications of all the Hujjaj. Let them return with all their legitimate wishes fulfilled and their hearts content.

O Allah, let the impact of this Hajj journey remain with the Hujjaj for the rest of their lives. Make it a turning point that brings them closer to You and makes them better Muslims.

May Allah accept the Hajj of all the pilgrims, grant them His mercy and blessings, and make their journey a source of eternal reward.
