রাসূলুল্লাহ ﷺ ইন্তেকাল করার পর মদিনা শহরে ভয়াবহ খরা ও দুর্ভিক্ষ দেখা দেয়। তখন মদিনার মানুষ সাহায্য ও পরামর্শের জন্য সাইয়্যিদাহ ‘আয়িশাহ (রাঃ)-এর কাছে আসে। তিনি তাদেরকে নির্দেশ দেন, যেন রাসূলুল্লাহ ﷺ–এর কবরের ওপরের দিকে একটি খোলা পথ রাখা হয়, যাতে তাঁর ও আকাশের মাঝে কোনো বাধা না থাকে।

লোকেরা যখন তা করল, তখনই আল্লাহর রহমতে বৃষ্টি নেমে এলো। চারদিকে গাছপালা সবুজ হয়ে উঠল, পশুপাখি ও গবাদিপশু সুস্থ ও শক্তিশালী হয়ে গেল, আর পুরো মদিনা আনন্দে ভরে উঠল। এই ঘটনাটি ইমাম আদ-দারিমি (রহ.) লিপিবদ্ধ করেছেন।

পরবর্তীতে উসমানি খিলাফতের সময় নববী মসজিদের গম্বুজে একটি বিশেষ টাইল স্থাপন করা হয়, যা এই ঘটনাকে স্মরণ করে নির্মিত।

আল্লাহ তাআলা আমাদের সবাইকে তাঁর প্রিয় রাসূল ﷺ–এর ওসিলায় রহমত ও মুক্তি দান করুন।
