It was reported that a movie theater displayed a short film which began with a snapshot of the room ceiling. No details, no colors. Just a white ceiling.

The same scene remained displayed for 6 long minutes when the moviegoers started to get frustrated. Some complained about the film wasting their time and others started to leave.

Suddenly, the camera lens slowly started to move until it reached down towards the floor. A small child who appeared handicap was lying fixed on the bed, suffering from a spinal cord tear.

The camera then pans back up to the ceiling with the following words:

"We showed you only 8 minutes of this child's daily activity, only 8 minutes from the scene that this handicap child watches at all hours of his life, and you complained and weren't patient for even 6 minutes, you couldn't bear to watch it.."

Sometimes we need to put ourselves in others shoes in order to realize the magnitude of blessings we are given and to thank Allah for bestowing us with such blessings that we take for granted.

MSc: ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে প্রথম শ্রেণীতে প্রথম।

প্রোফাইল দেখেই বুঝতে পারছেন উনি কোনো আলতু ফালতু মানুষ না কিংবা স্বপ্নে পাওয়া কোনো ফর্মুলা থেকে ভ্যাকসিন আবিষ্কার করেন নি।উনি যদি চাইতেন ইউরোপ-আমোরিকার কোনো দেশে রাজকীয় হালে থাকতে পারতেন। ওনার সেই কোয়ালিটি এবং ক্যাপাবিলিটি আছে।

কিন্তু,উনি অন্যদের মত বিদেশ পাড়ি জমান নি।

"We cannot afford to lose people" বলতেই আসিফ মাহমুদের (ইনচার্জ, গ্লোব বায়োটেক লিমিটেড) চোখ ছলছল করে উঠাটা হয়তো অনেকেরই নজর এড়িয়ে গিয়েছে, কিন্তু এর মধ্যে দেশের মানুষের জন্য কতোটা ভালোবাসা ছিলো তা সহজেই অনুৃমান করা যায়।

"বাংলাদেশ করোনা ভাইরাসের ভ্যাকসিন আবিষ্কার করার দাবী করেছে" - শুনতেই আমাদের সচেতন ফেসবুক বিশেষজ্ঞগন হাসতে হাসতে মাটিতে শুয়ে পড়ছেন।ট্রল করছেন।মজা নিচ্ছেন। অথচ দফায় দফায় ট্রায়াল দিয়ে ব্যর্থ হওয়া বিভিন্ন দেশের ভ্যাকসিন আবিষ্কার এর খবর শেয়ার দিতে দিতে টাইমলাইন ভরে ফেলেছি।

নিজ দেশের প্রতি এতো অবিশ্বাস আমাদের? আমাদের দেশের হাজার হাজার মেধাবী তরুণরা বর্হিবিশ্বের বিভিন্ন টপ ক্লাস পজিশন দাপিয়ে বেড়াচ্ছেন এ খবরটা কি আমাদের অজানা? আজ যদি ড.আসিফ মাহমুদ অন্য কোনো দেশে বসে ভ্যাকসিন আবিষ্কার এর দাবী জানাতেন তাহলে কিন্তু আমরা মাথায় তুলে নাচতাম, কিন্তু এখন কি করছি?

ইতিমধ্যেই খরগোশ এর দেহে এই ভ্যাকসিন প্রয়োগে এন্টিবডি উৎপাদনের প্রমাণ পাওয়া গিয়েছে।আসুন প্রার্থনা করি যেন ক্লিনিক্যাল টেস্টে আমাদের আবিষ্কৃত ভ্যাকসিন সফলতা লাভ করে।
সত্যি বলতে এরকম কিছু হলে পুরো বিশ্বে বাংলাদেশ হইচই ফেলে দিতে পারবে।

ঢাকা মুগদা হসপিটালের বাহিরের দৃশ্য,হাসপাতালে স্থান না পেয়ে করোনায় আক্রান্ত মেয়েকে নিয়ে ফুটপাতে বসে পড়লেন অসহায় এক বাবা।
হাতির আর তার বাচ্চার জন্য যে পরিমান মায়া কান্না আমরা করেছি, অসহায় মানুষদের জন্য তার ছিটেফোটাও আমরা করি না।
হ্যা আমরা বাঙ্গালী,আমরা বীরের জাতী! -
