ভারতের হ্যান্ডলুমের ইতিহাস: ঐতিহ্যের গল্প

ভারতীয় হ্যান্ডলুম বা তাঁতশিল্প আমাদের দেশের এক অমূল্য ঐতিহ্য। এটি শুধু কাপড়ের গল্প নয়, বরং সৃষ্টিশীলতার, পরিশ্রমের এবং ইতিহাসের সঙ্গে জড়িত এক মহৎ শিল্প।

প্রাচীন যুগ থেকে শুরু করে আজ পর্যন্ত হ্যান্ডলুম আমাদের সংস্কৃতি ও অর্থনীতির একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ। সিন্ধু সভ্যতা থেকে মুঘল আমল, ব্রিটিশ শাসনকাল থেকে স্বাধীন ভারতের আত্মপরিচয়—প্রতিটি সময়ে হ্যান্ডলুম তার নিজস্ব সৌন্দর্য আর বৈচিত্র্য নিয়ে জ্বলজ্বল করেছে।
ভারতের প্রতিটি রাজ্যের হ্যান্ডলুমের নিজস্ব ধরন ও গল্প রয়েছে। যেমন:
🧵 বেনারসি সিল্ক : বেনারসের ঐতিহ্যবাহী সিল্ক শাড়ি, যা বিয়ের পোশাকে অন্যতম।

ইতিহাসের এক সময় ব্রিটিশ শাসনে হ্যান্ডলুম শিল্পের উপর মারাত্মক আঘাত আসে। কিন্তু স্বাধীনতার পর এটি ধীরে ধীরে পুনরুজ্জীবিত হয়। আজকের দিনে, এই শিল্প লাখো মানুষের জীবিকা নির্বাহের প্রধান উৎস এবং ভারতের "মেইড ইন ইন্ডিয়া" উদ্যোগের একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ।
