Our Market Visit at Jamuna Future Park. 🥳

এভাবে আমাদের যমুনা ঘুরে দেখা হয়নাই কখনো! কতো কিছু দেখলাম শিখলাম। এতো ভেরিয়েশন তাও সামান্য চেন্জ এর মাধ্যমে করা যায়।

I enjoyed this visit and again learned a lot from it. Now, it's time to apply, In Sha Allah. But, I have realized that, we are really too clumsy!!! সিম্পেল কিছু থেকে যে কতো কিছু হয় যা মাথায় থাকা সত্ত্বেও আমরা করি ই না!! এই realization টা ধরে রেখে সামনের সময় থেকে যেনো কাজ করতে আমরা, আমিন। 🙂

Dropping my 1st Collection Dress from the previous semester.

Theme Brief-
I chose to create my collection for all the plus sizes girls who get to hear lots of negative things andwords from this toxic world. As a woman of plus size, I also have suffered too much. Through the collection, I only wanted to show and justify that, “All shapes are beautiful” and girl bearing a wiggle jiggle body can work infashion. Besides, it is also noticeable that usually women after the age of 30 automatically gain weight.It is not like that they eat too much but the phase is like that. As a result, they can’t even buy ready made dresses for them. Even if they buy themselves “goj kapor”, that also falls shortage regarding the size type of the body due to the age. They feel low about themselves. Also, I was inspired from the movie "Double XL" to do my collection with this idea.

Why Tie- Dye??

The reason I chose to work with the tie dye just because tie dye has the power to turn a garments into psuchedic creation. It is an art form; the are which is a precise burst of colors and creative in the world of fashion. Besides, Tie dye dresses also known as "দেশীয় পোশাক" in Bangladesh. It holds an unique part of ou Culture and Heritage. Also, it helps to create an individualism into you. I really feel love to work with Tie dye not only because its in our heritage but it somehow encourage me. The splash, the chemical and the designs you fold into the fabric holds its and yours own story. It motivates me in every possible way.

I have chosen Markin fabric to dye. I wanted to try out different things rather than the fabric cotton. Hence, the fabric Markin came into my mind. The fabric bears it's own weight but also, it bears the dye colors so perfectly!! I hope and wish you will like my dress and the silhouette of it. Thank you!
